Announcing the first annual Bits & Pretzels HealthTech Conference

Bits & Pretzels is proud to announce a new event that puts healthtech start-ups at its core. On 29–30 June 2022, we will bring together over 1,000 founders, investors, healthcare providers, and corporate executives to advance the healthcare ecosystem through new alliances, technology, and entrepreneurship. Bits & Pretzels HealthTech Conference will be an annual event held at ICM Munich.

Together with the Founding Partners, Roche and EIT Health, Bits & Pretzels is starting a conversation on how innovation and digital transformation can shape a healthier future and better patient care. Following the Bits & Pretzels spirit, healthtech start-ups will be in the centre of the event, enabling them to meet on eye-level with investors, insurers, executives, and policymakers.

Christian Lohmeier, Managing Director of Bits & Pretzels says: “Bits & Pretzels is the perfect host for such an event. Coming in with our strong network and a lot of trust within the start-up ecosystem, we are not afraid to admit that we are healthtech outsiders and have support and knowledge of others. With a deep understanding of the healthtech industry, they will design our agenda and lead you through the two days of the conference.”

It is not a coincidence that Bits & Pretzels HealthTech is happening now. The pandemic allowed all of us to rethink current rules and regulations and gave a great opportunity to leverage the innovation power of a maturing healthtech ecosystem. Despite its rapid growth in the last few years, it is not predetermined that the current thrive will slow down. That’s why our focus must lie on cooperation, shared learnings, and new alliances along the whole ecosystem to keep the positive evolution going and to use the potential of the healthtech to improve the lives of billions.
